Here's an issue with Excel and Win 10 http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-files/after-install-of-win-10-downloaded-excel-files/a5d88f48-dbb1-4cbd-bd81-70d92d98cd6f?auth=1 Ran into this with a client using SI - after they saved a file they had made changes to, they couldn't open it back up. This was the fix.

Please note that following this will open you up to all sorts of malware embedded in the Excel files. It's very sad that ""intelligence"" and ""security"" are never allowed in the same building at Microsoft...

Is there a better way to handle this @PhilMcIntosh?

I would go through those checkboxes one by one and see what is the minimum to uncheck that will work for SI files. It would probably also be better to try going into IE on each workstation and make sure the server where the SI files are is added to the trusted sites list so that the ""this file came from the internet"" stuff doesn't get activated when opening the files. Then you can leave the default Excel security in place. Note that I have not actually tested this as I don't think I have anyone yet using SI on Windows 10.
