Here's a situation one of us is experiencing. They just installed 4.3 PU8, btw. Any ideas? When quick printing and selecting print/pdf all, MAS 90 will print the hard copy but then locks up when generating the pdf. After doing some testing on their server, I found that it would generate the pdf but not pull it up in adobe on the screen. You could view it through the vendor viewer however. It does not lock up on the server for me, but does on their workstations and they have to end task. I have tried about all of the paperless solutions out there: deleting lock files from the registry, verifying cdint.dll files and manually registering, deleting the extended solutions pdf converter, changing permissions on the Sage PDF Converter in printers nothing is working. I tend to think it is not related to any of these though, since the pdf does get generated, just doesn't pull up on the screen. I also checked to make sure adobe is associated with PDF file extensions, which it is.

What is OS being used at the workstation?

it's really just that it locks them up. They are on Windows 7 workstations. I'm going to have them test on an XP. Problem is, even on the Windows 7 machines, it does create the pdf sometimes, just not all of the time

Is anyone else as completely and totally OVER trying to get Paperless to work consistently on a Windows 7 machine as I am?????????

How about reinstalling the client? Did you go into the printer settings for Sage PDF converter and change the port setting back to the Sage port from the nul setting?
