How does this scale, ie a large number of sales order (make to order) or work orders?

I have not heard anylimitations/comments from my client but a call the vendor may confirm any limitations. They have been using it for a solid 6 months now.

This is excellent. I'm going to test and then introduce it to all my JobOps clients.

Yea, but I didn't look further. Isn't this just a shared visualization? How would this integrate with jobops from a data back end perspective? Deb, what type of issues are causing you 'hot water' with the scheduler. May be selling field service to a fire & safety company soon.

@MarkChinsky - the concept on this (I think) is you use it for those companies that want some mfg planning but have no skills to do much more than track orders visually. And from what I see there's no write back of status/cost -- so this is definitely a niche tool for lower end MFG type customer. I have a boatload who want a full blown MFG system so long as not one single process needs to change or the cost is more than $100. This may help that segment. I can think of one or two customers.

@MarkChinsky not the FSD Tech dashboard, standard scheduler. And there is no write back to JobOps. But under certain conditions, this would provide a simple clean alternative. For WO environs too...

All of these things tend to look great, until...the folks behind them can't make a living and throw in the towel leaving folks stranded..

Oh yea of little faith @MarkChinsky , where's that entrepreneur spirit?? :)

@DebThomas I have the spirit but even traditional startups only have a 1 in 5 chance. That means if you build a business process around one of these .com startups, there is an 80% chance it will die in a few years and you'll be scrambling to figure out how to get your data back. I had spend months posting all my blog videos to a paid video hosting service that later got acquired by Flickr and then was nerfed. I had 30 days to download all my videos, find all the references, and then finally I decided to use youtube with proper embed codes because I know its not going anywhere any time soon.

@MarkChinsky Never bet against Google (or Microsoft) with a competing service.

Microsoft seems to be pretty quick on the draw to kill online services to, they just killed Live Mesh and Live Messenger for example. And google has many a dead solution.
