The last (and only) webcast I attended was definitely geared toward the fortune 100 and they were extremely snotty at the idea of our making any type of suggestion that would ever get implemented for smaller companies. I believe I've correctly pegged their prior management as basically walking away with a big bag of money. They still technically work there but I don't think there's much motivation to do much other than probably push corporate paperwork.

I agree with Wayne. The bigger concern is that they just discontinue the commercial side of Socialcast. They pretty much made it free for now.

I guess that is why 90Minds pays us the big bucks to administer the site. Let's hope we can get at least another year out of it.

Plan B would probably be Google Groups for a short while. I would be reluctant to take on Yammer since they may also be absorbed into Microsoft. Long term I continue to be hopeful that Google Plus evolves. I would not be surprised if the reason we are being delayed is that there's some announcement pending.

I would not write them back. Let them forget about us and keep us on the free version. If they do write back and pursue we can always stall for some additional time if they're trying to greatly increase our fees.
