Here is a new one (at least for me). Trying to upgrade client to MAS 90 v4.5. Asking for a connection to the server. IT says they don't have servers any more must a SAN. Sure enough, when we connect it is via a workstation. Currently, I am installing it via the workstation but am wondering what down stream events will come back to haunt me so I can warn them about it in advance so I don't get the blame. Obviously, CRM isn't going to work (but they won't be using it). Is there anything in the registry? Do we have to do future installs from this PC? MAS 4.3 and v4.4 seem to be working fine in this environment.
Thoughts?
