Here are some antidotal observations regarding Sage 100 Premium.
1.As the installed base of Sage 100 Premium grows, issues are coming out of the woodwork. Be prepared to be an active participant in Sage's quality control department.
2.There isn't much in the knowledge base on Premium. Supporting Premium will often be breaking new ground.
3.Sage is pushing out support to the channel. This week a Sage technical support employee suggested that I contact a MD to look at the source code in an effort to resolve an issue, even though there was no MD enhancement involved. The end user pays well over $13,000 annually in maintenance for Sage 100 Premium. The suggestion was not well received. My sense is that the Sage employee was really trying to assist within the structure and resources available to them at Sage.
