Here are some antidotal observations regarding Sage 100 Premium. 1.As the installed base of Sage 100 Premium grows, issues are coming out of the woodwork. Be prepared to be an active participant in Sage's quality control department. 2.There isn't much in the knowledge base on Premium. Supporting Premium will often be breaking new ground. 3.Sage is pushing out support to the channel. This week a Sage technical support employee suggested that I contact a MD to look at the source code in an effort to resolve an issue, even though there was no MD enhancement involved. The end user pays well over $13,000 annually in maintenance for Sage 100 Premium. The suggestion was not well received. My sense is that the Sage employee was really trying to assist within the structure and resources available to them at Sage.

Wow, that's crazy, Interesting info @MyronStevenson. And Anecdotally speaking, Antidotal is an actual word. I had to look it up.

Point 3 - Sage is pushing out support to channel - and for std. and advance they are trying to take it away from the channel.

It is important that we all communicate on these SQL issues. (i.e. if you get a fix pass it on ) I am finding that premium is becoming the goto platform for new sales.

WOW - As a Master Developer, I have access to the source code and I would be ticked-off if support at Sage told me I had to look at the code to resolve an issue. Not that I don't do that sometimes, but having a tech tell me that is not acceptable! I can imagine how poorly that would be received by both reseller and end customer. Did you eventually get your issue resolved?
