Help... verison 2014 ... trying to print 1099s... they don't want or need to eFile. Logged onto a workstation as local administrator. UAC turned off. When I click the Accept button in AP, reports, 1099 Printing ... Errro copying configuration file. Any ideas?

Did you try running in Mas90 mode?

As administrator with UAC off, go to the wksetup and run the autorun with the right click as administrator. This is the way I do the installs now. Click on the eFile install option. Eliminates a lot of the issues, but sadly, not all of them.... .

You need to generate through eFiling. The ""old"" menu option isn't supported any more.

@MaryJoKrueger - Looking at the image, it appears that he is trying to launch through e-Filing....

@NicoleRonchetti yes, just did.. That seemed to help .. it looked like it at least updated the forms. Now I'm missing the FEIN so the program won't let me process 1099s yet, but I should have that soon. Thank you. Why would this work in MAS90 mode? .

@MaryJoKrueger I'm not sure what you mean... I understand the old option isn't available.. i am trying to print 1099s using the new option whatever that is. @JeffSchwenk yes.. tried that... I believe I suggested this to someone in a post a couple of weeks ago. I get the attached error.

@DougHiggs I'm not sure really as to why it helps but I know that whenever I have issues running the e-filing... it works better in MAS90 mode. I think it has to do with permissions.

Sorry - I didn't open the image. I just read his post which said he was going into AP/Reports/1099 Printing. I was watching the VERY disappointing Packer loss at the same time.

Moira you mean Pete Carroll. The other guy is the radio host on KFI. Doug and Nicole that error about copying the configuration file is a bug and yes MAS 90 style is the workaround as you know. Occurs with a 64-bit workstation and a 32-bit server running MAS 200 style if I remember right. I reported it years ago that you can't look for the Aatrix folder under c:/program files/ when it's sitting in c:/program Files(x86) but they didn't get it. It was too technical for them.
