Hello there, We have a site that moved to Sage 300 2017 and CRM 2017. Most everything is working as expected except the Order Entry screens invoked via the CRM Create order or view orders functions. At one workstation in particular the buttons are not showing up at the bottom of the order entry screen when invoked from CRM. It looks fine when launched from 300. I have some recollection of this occurring in previous versions but cant remember what we did to fix it. Have tried logging in to CRM as admin, compatibility view etc. no luck. The screen fires up ok, and if maximized the grid portion of the screen just stretches to the bottom of the screen instead of rendering the Save, delete, close buttons. Any ideas? Thank you!

@MarcCregan - We have never had a lot of luck with the CRM Create Orders functionality. Many times the related TomCat service which states ""running"" isn't really running so you have to restart it all of the time. I would restart the TomCat CRM service and see if that solves the issue.

@MarcCregan any luck with this? We've got 2 new Sage 100 2017/CRM 2017 installations where the Order Entry screens aren't working. We have a case in with Sage but nothing yet.

@BrettLyder Can you elaborate on the Sage 100 2017/ CRM 2017? I have a large upgrade and would like them to test this area if you've found it problematic. Is it just an inability to create SO from within CRM? Any other area that's causing an issue (related to CRM)?

@WayneSchulz yes, at this point the only issues we are seeing is with the inability to create SO/Quote from CRM.(1 premium and 1 advanced). We have a test install here with Sage 100 2017 Std and CRM 7.3 for 2017 that works. So, we don't know if it's Std vs (advanced/premium) or the CRM version: 2017 r2 vs 7.3 for 2017.

Hi guys - its been a bumpy ride. This location is using Sage 300 and has about 18 local users and an RDS server. On phone with Sage right now will update soon.

@MarcCregan - one other thing we did to help stabilize a site was to make sure to use the HOSTS file and add in the IP address of the CRM server plus we went through the custom tables and made sure there weren't any issues in server names there as well.

Ok here is what I have learned so far. On this workstation, going into internet Options then security then Trusted sites and REMOVING the crm site allows the buttons to appear at the bottom of the o/e form when launched via crm. Another issue we ran into is you must have adobe reader installed on the workstation or the orders will not print. By design (according to sage) 300 order confirmations and orders print to PDF preview then you print from there. No adobe reader installed gives strange results when trying to print. Uncheck compatibility view check boxes in I/E - this was an issue when promoting customers from crm to 300 - the finders for tax group, terms etc would not populate. Things looked normal on the screen, but the finders were inoperative.

@BrettLyder check those i/e settings might be compatibility view check boxes that are causing your issue with the 100 form??

Thanks @LloydSmith we had checked that the ip resolves to the server name by inserting the ip into the crm web address and it works. That should mean the HOSTS file is setup correctly - right? I will check the custom tables for old server name occurrences.

@MarcCregan - Is your client really going to use those screens? We have several clients using the opportunity functionality, but they just create the opportunity in CRM and open the orders screen and add it just to get the order number into Sage. Then they go into Sage 300 to complete the quote/order because everyone agrees the finders are slow, they can't have as many columns in the details grid and they have to print to PDF.
