  • 1.  Heads Up: Significant wait times on Sage support line

    I'm encountering 50+ minute hold time for Sage support. In one instance someone answered and the call immediately disconnected. Take this into consideration when deciding whether to place a Sage support call on behalf of a customer. Unfortunately, I have a customer whose registration keys are showing as expired and there seems to be no way other than placing a call directly to Sage to find someone to fix the issue. The customer has been given the run around by Sage and I'm getting it internally on the partner side. Just an FYI before you volunteer to open a support case on behalf of a customer because waiting on hold may tie you up for a significant period of time.

    Still on hold?  Did anyone tell Sage even though it is the holiday season, many users of Sage are accountants and they are hard at work on YE closing....

    I hung up. Turns out after waiting several days the expiration on the customer’s system updated to the correct date.

    I've had a couple calls with Sage disconnect immediately after they answer, as well.  Now, when I get on line with an analyst, the first things I do are make sure they have my phone number and have them give me a case number. ​​
