    Heads Up - Please see the enclosed article from the Business Management Daily, Payroll Legal Alert, August 2018 issue. I haven't seen anything since so I don't know if this has moved past ""proposed"".

    Nice info - here's the Gov info [online](https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2018-05-31/pdf/2018-11749.pdf) - I'm curious if the proposal moves forward whether this is something that would impact the 2018 filing year.

    I think it does impact 2018 forms. Article says ""file in 2019"" not ""for"" for 2019. We file 2018 forms in 2019.

    Another reason to pay the piper and just use Aatrix. Sooooo easy. All it takes is the hassle of one missed IRS filing to make them see the light. Upload and done. No ordering forms, aligning forms, stuffing forms, mailing forms, mailing to IRS, mailing to SSA. Last year I flat out refused to assist any one wanting to do paper forms. Not worth my time or their money. They do it once and they quit bitching.......

    Agree with @JeffSchwenk - most of my filers have gone electronic via Aatrix and very little push back on cost
