Heads Up - if you downloaded Sage 100 2018 PU1 --- Sage apparently slipstreamed a fix and re-issued the update with the same filename on 12/21. If you have it saved somewhere on your computer or in file storage (Dropbox, etc) best to re-download. There appears to be an issue with the original PU and sites that did NOT have payroll. It's not entirely clear whether Sage has already updated the 2018.1 or if one KB entry got head of another. In this entry, they claim to have updated 2018.1 - https://goo.gl/LvPTvc In the main 2018.1, they seem to be saying to wait for an update - https://goo.gl/QaVBBu My money is on Sage having updated with a new 2018.1 however, as with all things Sage, YMMV. Naturally, all this confusion would be completely eliminated if any subsequent re-issue of the PU was made with a new filename.

**Is the following _new_ re: that KB article?** Wonder when they put that in there. KB article still shows 12/21 at the bottom. Sage 100 2018.1 Update - _**Note:**_ Do not install this update at this time if you do not own Payroll. Sage is currently working on resolving an issue for Customers without Payroll. See KB108621 in Known Issues section.

Sage's email on Year-End Center - please note the hyperlink listed has to run a redirect and it takes a long time to resolve https://sg-mktg.com/MTUxNTAxNzkwNnxnNGhPSlA4N2dXd0dVczBlNmNwNFpoQ1dYd1ZiV3RzbnJ3V1hEdEpGd2pteTRJSHJvREZyNm1NZkI1TmtId2RZdTV2OFk3N3R5cFAybVZua0tuSjgyN2NfeVlsdWZFN3p2c1pkWVRIRFd6NU9HNkRMZnlqSk1HdTMyVm9vTFY1NENmV0Jad0hPam8tZkpLWU1UYmxXZGE2SVNEMmd2VHVGWERjQmxzZk51eTB6eGUxMDYtcGxYbkhDRFRGeFZPWTlWMU9PUnRrYUxnX2JrS0NWZ1pSbTZScmNWQUxTTGMxaU5rbUV1SDZha05UYmIzSllHQlNjcjRqT0NBPT18Pb7LCDoLx40dIzpW8CSr48XJUAZfW0kgllxqccixLiM=

Apparently as of yesterday, the v2018.1 download page _now_ no longer says not to install it if you don't own Payroll.
