Having an issue with the User Lookup Wizard on a MAS200 4.5 SQL installation. The client had a customized lookup for sales order header standard and backorders that contained a UDF, they made some changes to the validation list on the UDF and now when we try to access the lookup we get an error 43 in SWQMAN Line 12110. We tried deleting the existing customized lookups and that didn't help. Sage wants us to replace the data dictionaries either with a copy from a test system or by re-installing. Of course the client has a boatload of custom lookups, all of which are working famously with the exception of this one for Sales Orders. Does anyone know how to maintain these files or work in them? Somewhere it's looking for that UDF and hanging up on it. I'm game to try a few things if possible before we blow away all of their custom lookups using the Sage solution so any suggestions are welcome.

We ran into this issue on a test upgrade from 4.4 to 4.5. The answer from Sage was that the customer had too many Sales Order header UDFs. In 4.5 a vanilla system is attempting to handle 976 fields and if the total number of fields goes past 999 then the error occurs. The suggested workaround is to reduce the number of UDFs because MAS can't sequence more than 999 fields. Tech support said that the new version 5 will allow a 4 digit mask for variables.
