    Having an issue with a new install. Can't get the web to show up. EES v1.4 installing on a Windows Server 2008 R2. When I try to run the web interface I get an error 500 - internal server error. I was getting an error 404 until I installed additional application development role services on IIS. Any ideas?

    Do you have to allow that folder as a safe zone in the Internet options security for the browser?

    Yes. I have the Safe zone (that would not give me the error 500). I figured out what it was. I did not have the setting in IIS for the application Pool used by CRM set to true for enable 32-bit applications. Once that was on it all worked.
