Sage 100

Having a problem with Sage 100c locking up when a user changes company codes. There is only 1 user having this issue. This is Sage 100c advanced v2016 pu2 running as a service. I had originally checked the box in user preferences for this user to ""Retain company module on company change"". I thought that might have been the culprit but I deselected that setting and she has had a problem with her screen locking up again and she can't do anything on her workstation. It locks everything up and she has to reboot her workstation. Client changes company codes multiple times during the day. Other users do also but not having the problem. Anyone else having this issue. She is using the medium or large fonts. Could that be the problem?

We're experiencing the same problem on the same version. We moved from Service to Application and that didn't fix it. This is happening real time with us. My latest suggestion to the customer was to disable Prompt for Accounting Date in Company Maintenance. Seems to be the date dialog box not showing up correctly. I was thinking it was in the background or minimized but client said IT said they looked into that, too

Thanks, I will disable the Prompt for Accounting Date Prompt to see if that helps. Have you noticed that it prompts at a different place in 100c? It prompts as soon as you select the module not when you select a task.

Classic view is what we are going with now. Seems to be okay so far

Hard to believe such a minor change could be so painful. So, Robert you have experienced and resolved with classic view?

Still working through it, but that seems to be the correction so far. Like I said 'this is real time'
