Sage 100

Have you ever noticed that the Sage 100 menu is in no certain order. Wouldn't it be simpler for them just to alphabetize the damn thing?

It is my understanding that you could go behind the scenes and change the order of appearance, but that resets every time you do an install...... And yes, that is just treating the symptom, not the problem.... RIP Andy!!

Theoretically, the order was the order of operation back in the day. You had to setup LM before GL, AR&AP are a toss up, but required before IM, which was required before SO,PO... Within the menus they were also ordered in order of operation to make the user's life easy. Then stuff just got added. Some of us are almost as old as Andy...

That was my recollection as well @GaryFeldman . I used to tell users to start period end processing from the bottom and work their way up. Close PO and SO before IM, AR and AP. Then GL.
