have to migrate one company code from 4.4 MAS 200 to 4.5 MAS SQL (the SQL installation already has 20-30 live companies). Ideally I'd like to just drop the company folder in, create the company code and convert , but I can't remember if the new company SQL tables get created during the conversion or during the migration. I'm kind of assuming during the conversion, but wanted to check and see if anyone knew for sure. I can always start with the migration utility but I just know it's going to have issues - the other install is on a different server, I can copy locally but... if it's all the same I'd like to keep it as simple as possible.

You have to use the parallel migration Button and point to the 44 version. but you can choose only the company you want to migrate.

4.40 to 4.50 SQL table creation happens during the company conversion.

You will need to have the 44 system avaialble to point the parallel migration. If you drop your data in that copy (setup up the company ) you should be able to migrate it.

copying the one company folder in, creating the company code and running the conversion worked great. It does create the SQL tables during that conversion - thanks for the input!
