Have a very odd situation arise, a client's Parts Usage Log updates appear to not update all items transacted for a specific date range. The really odd part is that this only happened for a week in July. It worked as expected before the week in question and, magically, worked following the errant week. Anybody ever seen this? Network issue perhaps? They are on 4.4 SU9 JO R4.

Was R4 installed in July? I had this issue for a customer on R3Asto and was sent a repair program. It repairs a specific set of circumstances that are listed below: ID 1-5670: Missing items from the Daily Parts Usage Register Steps to duplicate: 1. Issue parts to a few work tickets - making sure there are gaps in the work ticket numbers - such as order number 0001100, 0001250, 0001625 2. Print the Daily Parts Usage log - do NOT update 3. Access a work ticket that lies in between one of the orders were parts were issued, such as 0001130 4. Select a step on the order accessed in Step 3 - add a line item to parts entry (do not issue the part) 5. Select the Cancel button from work ticket entry and select Yes to the prompt Do you want to cancel changes for work ticket entry number? 6. Print the Daily Parts Usage log - note that all work tickets with a number larger than the work ticket (0001130) with the cancelled changes are now missing off the Daily Parts Usage log (0001250 and 001625) using this example. Please continue to review your registers and let us know if you are still experiencing issues with parts not updating to the WIP account in General Ledger.

Their update was in early July. And the problem was only one week long in late July. Interesting, no?

Yes, interesting that it was only one week. I seem to recall this issue had to be repaired for R4 after it's release. Possibly a new user running the DPU and previewed but not updated?
