Have a user opening a custom crystal report that does not show all their company codes listed in the database sign on drop down. They can open the company in Sage 2013 advanced just fine but some company codes (3 of 27) are missing from the drop down list to be able to run report. Any ideas what could be the issue?

What happens at a different workstation?

Using the User Lookup Wizard there's a way to restrict users from seeing certain company codes. There isn't a customized lookup coming into play, is there?

I'm checking to see running at another PC and it doesn't look like custom lookup is an issue. Logged in as Sage user with admin (everything) rights. They actually get the issue when they go into report to edit or make changes and the database sign on doesn't display all companies.

Looks like it happens while trying at another machine

Last I knew Sage 100 would remember the ODBC path of the system last opened. What this means is if you have a backup company and a live company and you went into the backup company then immediately to open an ODBC app like Crystal it would be pointing at the last active Sage company. Also is ODBC security enabled? I don't use that very often so I can't tell you off the top of my head whether the security might filter also by company code.

I thought about ODBC security too, Wayne, but as I looked at it, I don't think it can restrict the companies on the list. I couldn't get it to do that anyway. Going into another install is a great thought, though. For Claudia's sake let's hope it's that simple.

General security for the missing companies for that user?
