Sage 100

Have a client's IT trying to get Sage 100 to run as a remote app via TS. They get the login screen OK, but also get this, which I've never seen before... Looks like the Debug, sort of, but options like Phone? Anyone ever seen this?

that one is a new one on me. I suspect the setup in the Remote App is the cause. You ALWAYS get the interesting cases

That looks like the providex program editor. Do they have MD enhancements.

I'm not sure how much help this is but that is a message from a ProvideX Utility. below is the excerpt from an old ProvideX manual ""This message indicates that an unrecoverable error occurred in a subordinate utility program

Beth, I agree with @DougHiggs . It is a providex program editor but can't figure out how it could get launched like that.

If it is advanced or premium may they have an incorrect path in sota.ini on the ts. It could be pointing to an incorrect copy of pvxwin32 (the one with installed when the providex editor was installed).

or maybe someone created a shortcut to the pvx editor. Check ""target"" and ""start in"" in the icon properties.

one other possibility. if it is advanced or premium, rename / backup activate.pvx on the ts and copy the activate.pvx from the server to the ts. home\lib\keys. make sure the activate.pvx is the original copy installed and not a later copy installed by someone else.
