Have a client with an Inventory Transaction batch he was updating from home and lost connection during the update. Batch now says it's Updating and I can't find anyway to change it. You can't select it to get the Restart prompt, the GL_CompanyBatch file has """" as the status, the TransactionRestart file is empty, the Reset option on the batch selection screen doesn't work because you can't select the danged thing in the first place. HELP - where can I go behind the scenes and change the status?

Can you reboot the server?

That was the suggestion on Sage's website and I'm trying hard to keep away from that option. Lots of users all over the place. :-(

use DFDM and look at GL_CompanyActiveBatch - field Status

@KennethPhillips - I had already checked it, it was blank. But @DavidOverholt has redeemed himself for not reading my post...LOL - it was still running in Master Console and all is well now. The client and I were both going ""DOH, why didn't we look there first?"" THANKS!

So Beth, I'm curious. By looking in Master Console, are you just verifying that it's still running, or is there some hidden feature I am unaware of, that lets you restart the batch or something?

Once we killed it in Master Console, it let us do the Restart like normal. I did see on Sage's website that there is as Reset button (on the right side in the listing of batches available) that can change a status. Never knew that.
