Have a client using payroll and emailing direct deposit stubs. They have over 100 employees. Last week one stub failed to email. Figured it was just a one time glitch. This week 4 failed to send. Does anyone have an idea what might be the problem?

Go To: Payroll> direct deposit > direct deposit stub viewer Look at the value under the ""Sent"" column N=Not Sent, Y=Sent P = Pending if it is ""Y"" then your email (exchange?) server thinks it was delivered and you can look in that log if it is ""P"" then some error or denial happened on the email side. I assume that ""N"" means that it was not flagged to be emailed in the first place.

Hi Jon, What Version? We have seen this happen on Version 2013, timeout related in creating the stub in pdf then emailing it. Working with a client currently moving them to Version 2015 and the process is faster and improved so far. Naturally did any email addresses change?

I'm having the same problem. Most weeks, all is good. Last week, it failed to send the President's pay stub. I taught the bookkeeper to watch the screen and if any fail, go to Payroll > Direct Deposit > Stub Viewer. Find those with a P. Highlight them and click on the Envelope button. This attempts to resend and I've never had this fail.

@RonPeterson - They are using V2014 SP5. Do you think there would be a change with V2015 for them?

Jon, I do believe Sage change the Alumni drivers in Version 2015 which allows for the process to be faster.
