Have a client that wants to transfer goods to another warehouse, but, they want to create a pick sheet without lot numbers first, then complete the transfer like a SO invoice. What solutions are out three?

I've had a client who inputs the transfers, then before updating, we have a custom report that they print as the transfer documentation.

ACS used to have an in-transit solution. I'd see if Scanco picked it up.

I tried to use the ACS version a couple years back and lots of issues with it. Pretty sure we recently had a post that the ACS in-transit mod was creating rogue cost tiers. I'll see if I can find that thread. Like @BethBowers idea and you could add UDFs to IM Transfer entry for additional data.

Yep, I was going to mention ACS's in-transit enhancement but not until they fix it!! HUGE nightmare.

You just had to bring this up again?? Customer apparently didn't listen to the advice to update transfer invoices in a separate batch and now - two weeks after finally cleaning things up, the monster has raised it's ugly head again.....

Only 26 days of Christmas shopping left. Another nice Christmas bonus opportunity.

The ACS in-transit would overwhelm most employees!!! It would require them to think!! too complicated!

The difference is, the ACS one creates a PO that awaits a receipt of good which is what this customer wanted - to have it truly be in-transit, not just update the transfer right away which doesn't accurately reflect where the inventory is.
