Have a client showing one qty on the Orders (SO) tab of inventory and another qty in the On Order total on the Qtys tab. A rebuild sort files for SO DOES NOT FIX IT. So, I'm guessing that the recalc portion of the SO rebuild is not using the actual SO Order Detail lines, but some other file, which is apparently screwed up. Does anyone know which file it uses?

Are these regular items (not BOM kits)? I've seen where kits display in one place as on order but not another. The flag seems to be the ""ExplodedKitItem$"" in SO Line Detail

@DianaLaughner - now that is an AWESOME question, because you can't see that from the On Order screen, and it would totally explain the diff (higher on that screen than on qty). I will go ask the client to check (all 59 orders...) THANKS!

I thought that the Qty on the Qtys tab gets fixed when rebuilding IM not SO.... I always do both at the same time to be sure.

Well, dang - it's not Drop Ships. I created a Crystal report to check, and that's a big NO.

If you print an open order by item report, do the totals tie out to the ""on SO"" in item inquiry?
