Have a client on 2015 with a new workstation. Getting this when she leaves it for any length of time: Input/Output error Program SY_SESSION.PVC Statement 6883 Class SY_SESSION Method Set Last Activity time Defender is off, AV excluding Sage. This is the only machine it is happening on. This exact error is not on KB. Can anyone tell me what that exact error may be trying to tell me?

@BethBowers we ran into this a couple weeks ago. Our customer was setting up a new remote server for some of their users and while they were testing it, anyone who left their system idle for awhile would get that error. We checked the DEP settings and changed the old opportunistic locking setting with no luck, Eventually, Sage support had us set the shortcut to run as administrator and we made a registry change to one of the keys. It was somewhere like Local_Machine->Software->Sage . I'm trying to get the specifics from our help desk person who actually handled the issue.

Update: He says they right clicked on the Sage100ERP folder in the Registry Under HKey_Local_Machine->SOFTWARE->Sage and gave every user full permissions.

That might just be because the way it was installed, Any logged in user versus just your user? I see it under both on my computer.

Hm. I am just looking at my machine - I'll see what is actually on the USER's machine. How weird. I have forty million versions of Sage on my machine and nothing under that Local_Machine.

@BethBowers did you figure this out? I see that folder on my PC but wanted to make the change on a users PC and they don't have it.

No response from my email to client yesterday, but also no complaining lately, so I have a sneaky suspicion it's fixed now.
