Have a client currently on MAS 200 4.1 with a test

Have a client currently on MAS 200 4.1 with a test 4.4 install in place. They do paperless statements at month end and now their pdf converter isn't working. (This is the AR-1223 and LM-1019) They also run them from the server since it is a huge job and goes faster from the server. I have uninstalled the 4.4 workstation setup, reinstalled 4.1 wksetup, deleted the Sage PDF converter from 4.4, verified the cdintf250.dll file is the only cdint file in system32 directory, registered it... Can't think of anything else.

Does the workstation they are connecting from have the 4.4 paperless converted installed? If so delete it from the local workstation or try logging onto the server directly.

Have you tried running it directly at the server and not through remote desktop?

I would try and logging directly onto the server and seeing if you can run it from there. Also, what server OS is it?

See KB 529734 for Paperless Office ""hang"" on Win7. See KB 494745 if you get ""Unable to Process Lockfile"" messages. SagePdf registry settings to check.

Isn't paperless an extended solution for v4.1? I am thinking there is a paperless install in addition to wksetup. Here are the instructions. Maybe they'll be helpful.

    Attachment(s)

    pdf
    LM-1018.pdf   202 KB 1 version

Search the server to make sure there isn't a second CDINT250.dll lurking on the server.
