Has someone found a way to use Paperless Journals & Registers but bypass the generation of pdf's to screen (maybe some sort of Registry hack or something)?. It seems like that should be an option since the current options allow you to selectively decide when to generate the .pdf (via the ""Prompt"" option) or not generate at all (via the ""No"" option). If you have Paperless J&R enabled, why in the world would you not always want the .pdf's to generate?! Client is accustomed to not reviewing the J&R prior to Updating, so therefore they would like to prevent the .pdf's from appearing on screen. Plus it forces extra clicks to close those screens, and in general it slows down their Updating process.

I haven't tested this within Sage Yet, but if you open Adobe PDF Printer Properties from the Devices and printers, there is an option in there to ""View results"" or something like that. if you uncheck that in a standard pdf creation, it creates the file on the backend, but does not actually populate the pdf to your screen. Worth a shot!

Thanks, @MichelleNichols! Just tried it but no luck. Actually the client doesn't have an Adobe PDF device/printer but I do on my local, however Sage 100 uses the Sage PDF Converter device/printer, so therefore it would seem it ignores the Adobe PDF settings. Thanks again for the suggestion!
