    Has Sage support been running on ""leave a message or call back later"" for some time now? I tried to call at 5:20p and after telling me they are busy and leave a message or call back they hang up. Then I tried using my customer's GOLD support registration number. Same outcome. I guess Sage can say this year was the shortest hold time in history since if they can't take the call live they hang up on you.

    I just (5:45pm) called SAGE about a client billing question and received the ""call me back later"" option. Which I took...before I could hang up the cell phone I received a call back from SAGE (an Oregon phone number).... it was tech support. They took my billing issue and tried to resolve it and then sent me to the Sales Dept. Person in Sales Dept. was friendly and helpful. One of the better call experiences I have had with SAGE in a long time.

    I wonder why they don't just answer the phone if they are going to call right back. The message that is on the system really gives the wrong impression and creates negative feelings.

    Well, I called twice today and picked tools instead of application and got through immediately.

    You only get on try... if we miss you we will not call you back .... please stay by your phone"" I couldn't make this up if I tried.

    I did get a pretty quick call back -- roughly 5 minutes. I'm not sure why Sage hasn't publicized their new workflow rather than let us presume that it's a waste of time to leave a number. Or maybe they want us to hang up and call later.

    I swear that they used to be the best in the business, and the sad state of service today may be that they still are!

    It almost makes waiting from 8 - noon for the repair person seem tolerable. It's predictable - they always arrive at 11:55.
