    Has Sage Payment Solutions added a new fee this year? Customer is saying they see a $17.50 fee coming out of their account that they haven't seen before. TIA.

    We received this e-mail yesterday. Maybe there is a new fee for Paya buying SPS? FANF Fee Billing Notification In January some of our merchant accounts were not billed for the FANF (Fixed Acquirer Network Fee). We regret the error and the fee will appear on your account as a one-time debit from Sage Payment Solutions. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please email questions to support@paya.com.     Apparently with PAYA purchasing Sage Payment Solutions they have implemented a fee. One of my clients contacted me and found the attached.

    Looks like it is another of the many fees that are buried on the statement. Must be a significant amount for them to retro it. This is what customer support told a client - **In January some of our merchant accounts were not billed for the FANF (Fixed Acquirer NetworkFee). We regret the error and the fee will appear on your account as a one-time debit from Sage Payment Solutions. We apologize for any inconvenience.**

    How timely - I just got off a call with a customer where I recommended they get a competitive quote for their CC.

    LOL - Me too. My customer called them and they were told it was a fantasy fee. Seems fitting.
