Has anyone written a script (or would be interested in writing a script) to update BOM Misc Charge Items to the standard cost in Misc Item Maint?

What do you want the script to do? Go through all components and update the unit cost to match Misc Item Maint?

I have 'wished' for this when a client is using both BOM production entries (with /Misc Charges) and JobOps Templates that have a /Misc Items. That way, when they ""make"" the item with a Production Entry, it captures the same costs as when they ""make"" an item with a JobOps Work Ticket. It would be nice to have a way to have a /MISC Charge match costs to a 'matching' /Misc Item.

@SteveIwanowski correct, get the 'new' cost from misc item maint and apply it to all boms using that /code.

OK, yeah, that should be scriptable (assuming the UnitCost field is writeable). I can probably do that next week.
