Has anyone worked with a Sage Accountant Network member lately? I have one where I'm doing an upgrade of Sage 100 and had to call to get the registration keys. Now that could be that they filed an ROR but in talking to Sage it almost sounds as if SAN members are no longer aligned with partners. I asked the Sage representative how I could align this SAN member and she responded (perhaps incorrectly) that the SAN account showed as a partner and therefore they couldn't add a partner (ROR ) to it. Anyone else have a similar discussion about SAN members with Sage and if so what was the outcome? Thanks.

I just went through my list of customers on the portal and all the SAN members I used to have on the list are no longer there.

I was thinking that Sage may have revamped their SAN and dropped any ROR. It probably never made much sense to have CPAs underneath an ROR since the CPA may have been doing their own upgrades, etc. For renewals I think it makes more sense for Sage to chase the CPA renewals.

I'm sure they want to do the renewals. It will mean calling Sage to get unlocking keys during upgrades.

if you are not the current ROR, good luck getting SAGE to ""share"" the unlocking key information with you.

Good point! I guess the client will have to get it.

Sage just sent them to me today - but I feel like you're right. It's definitely a YMMV (your mileage may vary). I make sure to keep the end user VERY informed of any issues I have with Sage or any third party. That has worked well at keeping blame for delays off my back.
