Has anyone worked out a timed routine that runs Sage 100 rebuild sorts at an off hour like 2 am?

It's my understanding that @AlnoorCassim and @JeremyFox have created something custom, but you may wish to also consider something like [Macro Express](https://www.macros.com/).

@WayneSchulz my solution employs a method of using vbs to launch the rebuild sorts windows and then using autohotkey (from quick glance it looks like a freeware version of macro express) to actually control the inputs. In the past I had also tried using powershell calls from VBS though the client i was trying for the powershell commands were ignored (but it worked for me). with that said though I'm happy to share the solution, but if you happen to polish it up I'd love to see how it works for you.

@Jeremy Fox Would you be willing to share your solution on automating the rebuild sorts?  My email is andrew@hagenbachsolutions.com.

???? I worked out a way to use a dummy VI Job to launch perform-logic that runs the SO Rebuild with no operator intervention.
The VI Job can be scheduled with the task scheduler.???? I would need to know the specific Sage100 version (and rebuild modules) to replicate.

@AlnoorCassim did this for one of our customers recently.

I'm interested too. I have a number of clients that could use this feature/function.

Do the auto recalculate sorts solutions recalculate the on PO and/or on SO inventory quantities? The inventory quantity on order recalculation is the primary reason I run the rebuild sort files.

Did you all put together a deliverable on this?

This 'Automate Rebuild Sorts' thread is a bit old but I'm wondering if anyone is willing to share (or sell) a working solution they have in place.

Just think - in two more years it will be the 10th anniversary of asking for this enhancement and having Sage look at us wondering why any company would ever need something like this and telling us how dangerous this utility could be.

If it is on the ideation site, post the link so we can vote for its inclusion for v2027 or v2028.

Give it a Vote! https://www5.v1ideas.com/TheSageGroupplc/sage100erp/Idea/Detail/25513.  And when the latest Mod Squad Quick Wins voting/ranking (survey) comes out within the next day or so, rank the heck out of this related item!  :)
