Sage 100

Has anyone who converted from Sage 100 Std to Advanced or SQL, noticed any speed difference with SMI Report Designer Add-In reports? I realize SMI has its own SQL engine, but I was hoping there might be some other factors affecting the process. I'm guessing there will be a little improvement from less overall network traffic. The client is on Sage 100 - 2016, with 20 users.

We took a customer from Advanced to SQL and the GL reports in SI were much slower. Not sure of the reason but it was much slower.

Thanks Cooper. I've heard similar comments about going from Advanced to SQL for Sage 100, as far as screen updates go also.

We had a recent convert of Advanced to SQL with the exact opposite affect on SI. The reports sped up. Go figure. These were multi-company reports.
