Sage 100

Has anyone sucessfully ran Sage 100 v4.50 on a MAC???

I think Wayne runs it on his Mac.

I am running it on Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac and MAS 4.50 is working fine.

I googled it and I found Wayne's post from 2008. I sent the link to the client and she didn't like the fact it was from 2008. Is there anything more recent? Is there anything ""special"" that needs to be done? I do not know anything about MAC. If I tell the client they need to run it on Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac, should they be able to understand what I mean? Thanks in advance!! I am feeling ""Mac"" challenged now!! :)

@AmyHattensty I would think the client has heard about Parallels software. The Parallels software allows the MAC machine to run window software on it. Then once that is installed on the MAC machine you just install the MAS like you are woking on a window 7 machine.

I use VMware's Fusion (running Windows 7) and have no issues running Sage 100. It works great.

VMware Fusion will work with a MAC that is good to know .

I like VirtualBox as well.
