Has anyone successfully set up a Crystal form to e

Has anyone successfully set up a Crystal form to embed the contents of a pdf or doc file that changes based on a field in the database? I am specifically trying to add the WT template attachments to a work ticket form, but any example should suffice. I added an OLE object to the report, on the format object, picture tab, graphic location set the formula = to the field that holds the file name, but it is not working. Crystal 2011 for Sage 100 2013.

I have done that with a WT and the file is in the Item Memo (specific code). See attached.

LOL - I forgot what I used when I set that up. Client is an office full of females - I knew they'd appreciate it if it screwed up and didn't print what it was supposed to.

Does that mean this only works if a female runs the report?:-) @BethBowers - in the data, are the paths UNC or mapped drive? Because my report did the same thing but doesn't work.

Careful @PhilMcIntosh - it's a dog eat dog world out there.

Too late to contact the client today - I will shoot her an email and if it's UNC, I'll let you know tomorrow.

Argh, I think they are mapped.

@BethBowers - did you get a chance to confirm if the drives are mapped or UNC?

@PhilMcIntosh - Sorry about that! The drives are mapped.

Well damn - still doesn't work either way for me. I have tried wrapping the path data in quotes as well - no luck. I can copy and paste the path data into windows and the file comes up. Any suggestions?

When I was struggling with this, I saw some comments about only being able to do with if the file was local... That's not the case with my client, but I'm wondering if it is still a network rights issue.
