Has anyone successfully passed a AR customer master file UDF to the Email Fields of a Business Alert. UDF's aren't available in the 'insert field' list but I am hoping it might just work if you typed it carefully. the client would like BA to email the appropriate inside sales rep when an order comes in from the web.

The Vineyard alerts correct?

No, they are still on the old Business Alerts.

Vineyard has (had?) a special that you could upgrade to their software for only maintenance. Not sure if that would work for you. One thing we used to do with BA was to use their Access db that was included for some reason. We hijacked it use by adding PTQ tables to it and started writing alerts pulling data through it. Much faster plus it will open up the UDF's for you.
