Has anyone successfully filed the 1099 firms using Aatrix? I have a customer on 4.3 where they can enter in all the 1099, they see the Aatrix spreadsheet for 1099 - then on the last screen they hit what looks like a Windows Error on App Name Builder.EXE. I believe they were able to run 1099s electronically last year. The only thing that might be causing an issue is they have their old Sage customer number. Oddly they just did W2 forms for Aatrix and all went through no problem.

Last call on this error - customer consistently receiving the above error even on different workstations.

I haven't tried it yet this year.

Logged case with Sage - they suggest IRD which I guess is possible though the W2 forms went through ok. I told the customer that it was probably early in the season for a lot of people to report this yet (assuming it was a bug) and there are probably fewer 1099 filers (electronically) than W2.

Update: Installing IRD for 2012 resolved this issue
