Sage 100

Has anyone sold a new 100c and setup the system at the EU and also use the keys on your own system? Does this trigger any type of entitlement issue? Asking for a friend.

Yes, and nothing noted on entitlements.

internally we have several consultants using the same Sage100c keys without issue. Of course ours are reseller keys so that is not an apples to apples example.

I'm curious what happens when an EU key is used in two different places. My guess is that Sage doesn't have the technology to manage the keys that closely and probably all that happens is each setup is monitored for expiration date of the plan and any change overall in the reg keys (add module, user // drop module, user).

I do it all the time. You're giving Sage waaay too much credit on ""monitoring"". It's a decade later and they're still trying to figure out how to phase out ARWAR4.

I have seen them push new keys for a Sage 100 to 100c migration that also included dropping user licenses. I believe you must be on 2015 PU5 or 2016 PU2 or higher for that to happen.
