Has anyone signed up to be a SPS Referral Partner? I'm wondering if it's better to go for 10% of ongoing transactions or the one time fee per customer option? And... talk about the #1 rule of fight club ... read this language: ""Partner agrees that it will not use for its own purposes, will not disclose to any third party, and will retain in strictest confidence all information and data belonging to or relating to the business of Sage (including, without limitation, the terms of this Agreement and information related to any referred merchants)."" Who writes these freaking things? Basically, partners can't talk about the terms of being a partner. Who is that protecting? I could say more about it but I can already sense the lawyers preparing briefs.

I signed up a couple years ago. Take the ongoing transactions if you're in it for the long haul.

It could (I'm not disclosing) that different partners get different deals. I took the onging spiff.

I took the ongoing as well - for accounts that do a lot of cc business the first year can easily exceed the one time fee. And law degrees are doctorates in bullying...

Personally, I don't believe that part was enforceable, as we were also authorized to sell PC-Charge. Regardless, my loyalty is to the customer.
