Has anyone setup faxing in V4.40 using eFax?

If that is the same thing as Protus then yes.

Can you do it out of the box in MAS. In 4.3 you need LM-1033 but that is not available anymore. Did sage included that in 4.4x

I have a client that was using Microsoft Fax on server. (it was working great, BTW) Well they virtualized the server and an external modem isn't easily supported in VMWARE. so we are looking into efaxing. Sage website only talks about LM-1033 which is history

We got LM-1033 from DSD. However for some reason it doesn't display on their website. But we were the first ones to request/test/use it because of a client upgrading to version 4.40.

I tested efax on a clients behalf to replace their MS Fax, which works well. They ended up staying with MS fax, but the efax configuration was straight forward. What does LM-1033 do?

Looks like we are going to do the same. We are going to use another server that is not virtualized server and add a modem. Hopefully Win2008 server will work with MS FAX (We had a Win 2003 server before)

LM-1033 adds in the efaxing (among others) capability to the standard MAS paperless office functionality. For some reason when Sage moved paperless office into MAS did not include LM-1033 and brought only the MS fax capability.

We have set up a couple customers with online faxing. We configure it in MAS as an email rather than a fax. It has worked well.
