I have no idea what to call any of them these days (that I can print, at least)

We had at one time printed up a nice chart of who to contact for what at Sage. I think this was six months ago. It's completely outdated.

I haven't seen one of those in at least two years.

Even if you COULD get an updated list of who to contact at Sage, it would be out of date in a matter of weeks - if not days. Here's my puzzle: Who do you call for NEW sales? Who do you call for add-on modules? Who do you call for maintenance renewals (current customers)? Who do you call for maintenance renawals (non-current customers)? Okay, is that less than N-2 or more? And WTH does that mean??? Do we know the exact dates anymore??? Etc., etc., etc....... I just pick the person I've had the best luck with recently....

I'm totally with you -- the chart we created was one specific to our company. So we listed the contact for most fo the above. And as you point out - it quickly went out of date. Like within 3 months. They are constantly churning people in the sales area.

When I received my customer's email from Steve Dyer - who used to be (insert title here) - I was a bit surprised cuz he's now (insert NEW title here). All I know is that he was something and is now something else. Am I really supposed to track these changes??

They really should issue dance cards daily for us.

We used to get heads up on these promos so we could coordinate our messages with theirs. Now we get blindsided and feel that Sage is looking to take the consulting opportunity with the sale. A truly sad state of affairs.

The other problem with this SPS offer, for those that are SPS resellers too, is it looks like it cuts the reseller out of any on-going SPS commissions,

So today I received a verification for this customer's maintenance and I'm perplexed... This customer migrated from MAS 200 to EES last July with 19 users, which included 19 CRM users. Now, they are saying they have to pay maintenance on those concurrent CRM users. Did I miss something???

How many CRM licenses do they need. Are they on V4.5 now. Under EES, (I believe) you had to have an equivalent number of CRM licenses are you did with MAS. But for new v4.5 installs, that is not the case. The numbers are independent of one another. Can someone else confirm???? if they only need five CRM licenses, I would start making phone calls if you don't need that many.

Not only do they not need 19, they certainly don't need concurrent vs. named...

Not sure here but wasn't there a period of time Sage was allowing these licenses to be swapped concurrent v named - perhaps so the customer could reduce cost

So this customer did finally renew about a week after their expiration but they just got this today. Client emails me: Subject: We don't blame you Hi Therese, I'm confused by this email we did renew. Could you please verify that they have updated our renewal information properly? I told them it was probably due to the fact you renewed AFTER your expiration date, not that Sage is totally unable to track ANYTHING correctly any longer.....

Are you kidding Therese. ""We don't blame you"" Unbeleivable!!

Yesterday, the owner of the company sent me an email with the subject line Need Expert Assistance After I resolved his issue, he replied: Thanks, master of MAS! So no, they don't blame me, but obviously, they're confused - aren't we all??

That's what I was wondering @JimWoodhead - I don't think so. They just want to be sure they renewed - so far, at least! And @WayneSchulz 's link is correct.

That video is a clear and direct assault on the role of the business partner (value added reseller). Sage wants to be the business partner. Sage Summit this year showed a complete disregard for the partners in favor of the customers. Customers had coffee breaks and real entertainment. partners got the shaft
