Has anyone seen this error in MAS90 4.4 Avatax ""The underlying connection was closed: could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel. The Internet Connection is down or the URL specified in AvaTax connect options is invalid. Proceed as normal. Check AvaTax Connect User Manual for instructions"" Avatax Support told me it was a certificate problem and I updated the three certificates they gave me on both the MAS90 server and the domain controller, still receiving the same error message.

Hi - just solved this earlier this AM for a client !!! see the attached link - there is an alternate URL you can put in, to use the older security model for now.... https://help.avalara.com/kb/001/AvaTax_Certificate_Change_July_2015

our client needed to click on the avatax button on the totals page to re-calculate any orders, invoices etc. that were done since last week......
