Sage 100

Has anyone seen an issue like this where the output is different if you print to PDF vs. preview and export to PDF? I have a client with an invoice where the last page is a T&C document. Preview looks good, print to PDF printer is great, but preview and export makes the T&C right margin bump in about three inches. I don't even know where to start looking!

Maybe check the print server properties (in Devices and Printers) and see if the paper settings are defaulted differently from those in the Sage printer setup ? I ran into something like this with a label printer. Printing to the label printer from preview worked perfectly, but printing directly from Sage flipped the orientation. Turns out the preview used one set of defaults and the printing used another.

Hi Michelle! Sage Printer Setup - is that the Sage 100 PDF Converter? Is that what the ""export"" button from Crystal uses? too many printers...

I don't know how or why but changing all of the T&C text fields to ""Justified"" fixed this. I guess it makes sense, that forces the text out to the very edges of the field which maybe enforces the margins. Either way, maybe this will help someone else beating their head against the same brick wall.
