We negotiated upgrade deals for our clients in August when we encountered the same situation. It may be somewhat different, because we had 5 client installations and multiple users for each. Infor initially told us that there was no upgrade pricing when going to Version 5, which is what is required for using Excel 2007 and above. At first the front line salesperson offered 10% off on pricing for new product. When he said he had no choice, we escalated to the VP of Sales. This resulted in true upgrade pricing, which was as follows (list prices):
First Report Writer - $675/Maint. $135
Additional Report Writers (each) - $135/Maint. $27
