Has anyone quoted a Sage 100 perpetual on a Sage 100cloud migration since the new price list went into effect April 4? If so, what price sheet did Sage use for an existing user migration? I know the price list that Sage says should apply but I'm curious which one they are using.

Just did one yesterday. They used the price list dated 4/4/2018. The new price ended up being a little less than the old one.

I'm not seeing it as cheaper for a **migration**. Using the 4/4 price list an existing Sage 100 Standard pays $ 1,008/year per user for complete vs the old price list of $ 720/year/user. Provided the existing user qualified for migration with no upfront fee the new migration quotes would be 40% higher based on SLP.

Apparently, the price list is just a guideline. Once I received the proposal from Sage, the ""Estimated renewal amount"" at the bottom of the proposal was less than what they paid last year. The awesome Sage proposals that don't foot and confuse the crap out of customers!

A customer who wants to migrate going forward will be under the 4/4 price list. Users who are already on subscription will pay for add-on's based on the old price list.

As someone pointed out, the higher rates offset the lack of upfront fee in about 3 years, unless the increases continue, then it might be 2. I did discover that 100c clients who migrated before 4/4 *add new users at the pre 4/4 rates*. And I presume they add them with the up front fee. So now I feel I need to keep both spreadsheets around. It's confusing. And meme for @JohnShaver.

@RhondaMcNamara no upfront fees for either group. Yep, keep both sheets around (though just to add to your fun, Sage is only using the new price list for both groups -- they add a discount to the pre 4/4 group to make the price come out correct).
