Has anyone moved a Sage 100 client from on premise to the online version? Would you recommend this? What are the pitfalls? Can you still access the data via ODBC, or some alternate method?

I don't think it supports UDF or scripting and there's no Crystal Reports (have to download) or Paperless emailing. @GaryFeldman is a great resource on the pros and cons. Here's a manual I dug out from random web surfing which describes a little about the setup: http://community.90minds.com/2012/12/29/sage-100-erp-online-setup-guide/

No Payroll or Job Cost. I believe Erik Kaas said 5 users was on the high end of where this product was targeted.

Job, there is no ODBC to a Sage hsted environment. You can transfer a complete database and overwrite what is in the hosted environment via a remote desktop. In our environment we allow limited remote ODBC type connections (through VI), but recomment alternative methods for larger data files (transfer and then VI, web services, etc.). Attached is a document we did when MAS 90 Online became ""generally available."" Page 5 gives a good summary of the differences between our service and Sage's. Since this was originally developed I know Sage has added SPS and some selected ""Endorsed Products' to the hosting environment. Also sunsequent to the original writing Sage changed the price sheet, so some of the graphs may not be 100% accurate and subscription pricing is also available.
