Has anyone investigated Amazon WorkSpaces as a cheap and easy remote managed desktop? Looks like they have pricing ranging from $25 to $75/mo per desktop (depending on speed, memory, MSFT Office options).
From what I can see it also includes a 50 GB Amazon WorkDocs (which appears to be similar to DropBox).
Yes it's cheaper to buy a computer and use in the office but this seems relatively inexpensive and you can discontinue at any time.
I know I looked once before and the gotcha at the time was that Amazon charged for any file transfer above 1 GB per month so synchronizing DropBox continuously may cost.
Anyone using this?
