Has anyone integrated Leads from Data.Com to Sage CRM? I have a prospect that is looking at CRM mainly to work with the leads they get from Data.com. It is a Salesforce.com product that is already integrated to Salesforce.com but wondering if SageCRM has anything. Other than the basic import of text files.

Post the question on Sage CRM forums. sData might do it, as it's a pretty vanilla RESTful API.

I was checking to see if it had already been done. Not sure the customer is willing to pay for the development cost for us to do it. Not when it is already working and very smooth in Salesforce.com.

Understood. It is one of the huge advantages of the sf ecosystem. Contact Sage CRM to ask if they know of one. Might try enbu, too -- that is if @PeterWolf doesn't weigh in here...

It would be a custom project to do this. Bringing data in to Sage CRM isn't overly difficult though - depending on specifics on how they want it done. Most likely it could be done for $3K - $5K.

PS. Please let me know if you would want to talk with my team to assist and I will connect you with the right person. I would check with the customer first.

Todd, I'm curious about what's driving the prospect's interest in Sage CRM. Why do they want to leave sf?

They aren't leaving SF but looking at SageCRM as another option instead since there was an integration and they already have an investment with Sage on Sage 100 and other services.

Todd, there are a couple sf-Sage 100 integrations out there now. There are decent reasons for Sage customers to use Sage 100 over sf, but integration is probably not a good one. I do think it would be a good idea to take Peter up on his offer to talk to prospect. Depending on the prospect's size and needs, you could conceivably pass the cost of the lead customization into your support agreement with them, or look at it as a cost of selling.
