Has anyone in the group worked with ASG Software Solutions, www.asg.com? Specifically their Cypress Document management solution?

I have reviewed their literature and website in the past, but decided since I have Acom and Altec here locally, I would concentrate on their solutions. I would be interested to see if the ASG offerings have advantages over the other two. Since both Acom and Altec are comprehensive, price would be the biggest advantage I can think of, since clients usually think the pricing is high for these this function. I am getting the impression that document management is like EDI - it's an investment.

We've got a few guys here in our office who do Cypress consulting. I'm not sure we have any MAS 90/200 clients on Cypress, but I know we have at least a handful of MAS 500 clients who use Cypress. If you want to spend a bunch of money and get something that's really slick, check out Image Now (www.imagenow.com). I used it once at a company that wasn't afraid to spend some coin, and it's one of the best document solutions I've ever seen

What is a ball park for the Cypress Software? Historically, we've used ACOM and All-Tec.

The pricing guy is not in the office today. I'll have to get back with you.

@JeffSchwenk: Starting price on the software and the stuff we typically sell is $15k, give or take, which includes three days of consulting time. Hope that helps.

That is in the ball park of ACOM, not sure about All-Tec.

According to our Cypress guy, All-tec is typically a little higher than this.
