Has anyone implemented or reviewed Scan for MAS (www.scanformas.com)?

I have a conference call with them scheduled for Friday. Want to show me their PVX warehouse tracking modules. Do you want to listen in?

Thanks for the invite Jeff. During summer, I observe the ""no PVX Friday"" rule... (too close to weekend). They've been calling me for weeks, so I'll await your thorough, expert review instead.

Jeff Keirns and I started due diligence in March. I have had trouble connecting with their references post demo. We liked what we saw especially since their barcoding solution is coupled with some nice WMS features. And its all native PVX. ============================================================== Here is my summary of Scan for MAS WMS system call today (March 29th): Jeff Keirns and John Broadfoot were also on the call. Xceliware (www.xceliware.com/dnn/Home.aspx...) is a provider of WMS systems and advertises integrated products for major ERP solutions. Ownership is an Investment Group that also owns Paul's TV in Southern California (FWIW). They are an integrator that handles major brand hardware and professional services for a turn-key solution. They have an exclusive license with ICS (Gary Willett) to distribute WMS for MAS (aka Scan for MAS). Gary is a former SOTA programmer. Gary appears to have extensive warehouse and shop floor experience. LinkedIn profile: Gary Willett (www.linkedin.com/pub/gary-wille...) Development Manager Innovative Consulting Services (www.innovativeconsultingservice...) ""The Leader In Warehouse Management, Shop-Floor Management, and Food Distribution software for MAS 90/MAS 200"" Scan for MAS is reportedly in 50 end user sites. We asked for references. Unlike Scanco and ScanForce, Scan for MAS is built with Providex and Nomads and requires a full-time connection (Citrix or RDP) to MAS. Users (shippers) are MAS Users. Scan for MAS is a complete WMS solution including some nice gap features like multi-bin, paperless picking, and in-transit warehouse. Warehouse transfers are immediate and don't require an update process. Because they are just beginning to enter the reseller channel, pricing is negotiable based on ROI, and generally in the $15k-$20k range. M&S is 15% of sale price. Margin to reseller on product is 20% though negotiable since reseller establish customer price. M&S margin is 5%. They seem to be feeling their way through the process of engaging a channel and will participate at all levels of engagement with a prospect. There is no sign-up cost, certification, or minimums. I'll report again after vetting references. ==================================================================
