General Consultant Discussion

Has anyone here bought lead lists before? Any successes or horror stories that you would like to share? I'm looking to do some outbound activities to drum up Sage CRM sales but I'm cautious about these list providers out there. Any time something is too good to be true, it usually is.

We get ours through the telemarketing firm we are settling on. When the initial results were meh, they updated.

I have used telemarketer many (many) years ago. Both internal and external. I found a lot of ""well you called me so now come and fix my problem and maybe I'll buy and maybe I won't"". Others are far better at pursuing these types of leads. I think @MarkChinsky is another good resource for this as he does a lot of outbound marketing.
